    Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has been delighted with his side's development since he took charge of the club this summer. According to him, the Red Devils have experienced a lot of improvement.

    Manchester United faced Fulham in Week 16 of the Premier League 2022/2023, Sunday (13/11/2022) evening WIB. Visiting Craven Cottage, MU won with a score of 2-1.

    MU managed to take the lead in the 14th minute thanks to Christian Eriksen's goal. Fulham finally got back in the 61st minute through Daniel James.

    When the match was about to end in a draw, Man United ensured victory through Alejandro Garnacho's goal. He broke into Fulham's goal in the 90+2 minute.

    This victory kept Man United at a distance from the top four. Man United is now in fifth place with 26 points from 14 matches.

    MU Experiencing Improvement

    Ten Hag hailed the improvement Manchester United have made this season after seeing his team beat Fulham in stoppage time.

    "I think we have the foundation. We are going in the right direction, the culture has changed. Attitudes have changed and that is good," Ten Hag told Sky Sports.

    "We are also improving. We have a better mentality and you saw that today with the winner coming in the last minute."

    "We are united now, we have togetherness. The dressing room, the staff, the directors, the whole club and the fans. I am very happy with the development."

    Important Victory

    Manchester United closed their last game before the World Cup with a win. Ten Hag considered that the victory was very important for his team.

    "In the last week we had some good options with a substitute coming on and having a big impact," he said.

    "It's a big win, it's very important and I'm very happy with that."

    Praised Garnacho

    Garnacho became a MU hero after coming off the bench. Ten Hag did not hesitate to give praise to the player.

    "It's a big skill (confidence/arrogance) to have. But it always finds a balance," he continued.

    "He can perform under pressure and he came in and did well like he did on Thursday."
