Compressed air filters vs ventilation air filters

  • Air filters are used to separate solid particles, water droplets, and oil mist from the air. This helps to get clean air for ventilation or compressed air purposes.

    Their work settings, the things they filter and how much pressure they can handle are all different. The ventilation air filter cleans air outside and in places like air-conditioned rooms and workplaces. It works at normal air pressure. The compressed air filter cleans air that travels through pipes and works with high pressure, from a few atmospheres to several hundred atmospheres.

    The common types and qualities of air filters used for ventilation:

    The coarse filter is used to catch tiny and big dirt and other things that should not be in the clean area. This helps to keep the place free from impurities. This is about a device that cleans the air before it goes into a system. It can clean most of the bad stuff in the air, but not all of it. It's made to get rid of things that are 5 micrometers or bigger.

    A medium efficiency filter is mostly used to catch tiny floating particles that are between 1 and 10 micrometers in size. This filter is mostly used in air conditioning systems. It can filter out particles that are 1μm or larger, and it has an efficiency of at least 20% but no more than 70%.

    These filters are really good at catching tiny particles that are as small as 1 μm and as big as 5 μm. This is mostly used at the end of a system that cleans things very well. It works between 70% and 99% well and can filter out things that are 1 micron.
