How to properly install a compressed air precision filter

  • Air filters are used to clean compressed air by removing dust, water, oil and other impurities so we get clean compressed air.

The compressed air precision filter has two parts: a filter and a cover. When air is squeezed and goes through a special filter, dirt gets trapped and the clean air comes out. The filtered air is good enough quality for different types of businesses.

Air filters come in different levels of accuracy. They need to be installed in the right order, or it can cause problems. The air might not be clean, and the filter might not last as long. It is necessary to install things in the right order to get clean air that has been compressed.

Types of filters that clean compressed air.

P-class is a filter that can remove particles as small as 3 micrometers before they reach the final filter.

U level: When the filter is used in 20 ℃ conditions, it can remove particles as small as 1μm and leave only 0.1mg or less of oil per cubic meter of air.

H grade filter is very accurate and can sift particles as small as 0.01μm. It also helps to keep oil residue to a minimum of ≤0.01mg/m3 when working in a 20℃ environment.

The S grade filter removes oil and can filter things as small as 0.01μm. It works best at 20℃ and only leaves behind very little oil (≤0.001mg/m3). This filter should be used together with the H grade filter.

Class C filter removes bad smells and can work with compressors that use oil. At 20°C, the filter leaves ≤0.001mg of oil per cubic meter. It works well when paired with class H filter.

Here are some tips for installing compressed air filters in the correct order.

First use a rough texture, then a smooth texture, and don't switch the order.

Your compressed air filter should not have air flowing through it faster, with more pressure or at a higher temperature than the filter is made to handle.

When installing the compressed air filter, be sure to remember where the air comes in and goes out.

The installation needs to be at a specific height from the ground so that it is easy to replace and operate.
