The importance of precision filters for compressed air quality

  • What does "precision filter" mean?

A precision filter helps separate solid things from liquids or gases. It works well for separating solids from liquids in different types of mixtures.

Why should you use a filter that is very accurate and precise?

Compressed air has a lot of tiny bits of dust in it. If industrial areas are dirty, they can make the compressed air systems stop working well. 80% of this dust is very tiny, smaller than 2 micrometers, and can easily get into the pipes that carry compressed air. When water, dirt, rust and germs get in the compressed air, they can make a dangerous mix that can damage the pipes and make you lose money in production.

If you don't put a filter on your equipment, some bad things might happen.

Bad air quality can ruin equipment and make you have to buy new ones unexpectedly.

This can cause less liquid to pass through and more pressure to build up.

The air storage tank and delivery pipes can get damaged from rust and decay.

Valves and pipes can get blocked, and this can hurt machines and stop things from being made.

Making the workplace dirty and increasing the cost of making things.

This text is talking about different situations where precision filters might be useful.

If a business wants really clean compressed air, they can use special filters that work well. These filters are important for industries like pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, the environment, and water treatment.

    Grouping of accurate filters.

Filters come in two sizes, big and small. Big filters are between 300mm and 3000mm in diameter, while small filters are less than 1000mm. Custom filters can be made for special uses.

Simple: A way to filter things carefully.

Shell is a program that enables interaction between a user and the operating system of a computer.

The shells of the filters are built using steel covered with rubber, stainless steel, glass steel, or plastic.

    Filter materials

We use different types of filter materials like PP meltblown, activated carbon, and glass fiber depending on what we need to filter and how we need to use it. These materials come in the form of tubular cartridges and can be used as filter elements.

    3. Additional system

There are pipes, controls, openings for removing liquids, and other items used in pipes.

Instructions for putting in the filter.

When using the filter, make sure to follow the pressure limit shown on it. Put the filter after the after-cooler and gas tank, close to where you will use it and where it's coolest.

Do not put the filter after the valve that opens quickly. The filter should prevent liquid from flowing back and hitting. Put the filter straight up and leave some room to change the filter part when needed. If the filter is big, make sure it is held up well in the pipeline.
