Gomoku How to Play: Gomoku is a traditional Japanese board game for two players that is more difficult than tic-tac-toe yet comparable to it. In order to make an uninterrupted line of five pieces in any direction, players take turns placing black and white pieces on the board at various points during the game. Gomoku is occasionally played on a move board, which has a 19x19 grid of lines instead of the traditional 15x15 grid.
