    FILM FORMING TYPE PU RESIN

The film-former grade PU resin for gravure ink is mainly used for lamination ink, with some variants suitable for surface printing ink due to excellent color strength. Normally the film-former grade PU resin for gravure ink can cooperate with NC resin, vinyl resin (Vinyl Chloride-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer) and PVB resin, and it can also be formulated into 100% PU ink. All the film-former grade PU resins for gravure ink exhibit strong compatibility with various adhesives, ensuring high bonding strength.

Due to its ultra high molecular weight, it demonstrates exceptional adhesion properties, anti-blocking capabilities, and heat and chemical resistance, making it ideal for hot filling, boiling, and retorting applications. The film-former grade PU resin for gravure ink boasts excellent solvent release ability, so it is suitable for high speed printing ink, making it suitable for high-speed printing inks. Some formulations also exhibit excellent alcohol tolerance, allowing for the production of high-quality flexo and gravure ink.
