You Cannot Harm Your Credit By Pulling Your Own Credit Report.

While it is true that ten percent of your credit score is derived from the number of credit inquiries you have, you can never affect your scores by pulling your own report. This does not reflect negatively in any way, no matter how many times or how often you do it. You could literally pull your own credit report every single day for a year and your score would not fall.

Every Person Has More Than One Credit Score.

You actually have a total of three scores, each from one of the three major credit bureaus (TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian.) When determining whether or not to give you credit, lenders will use the average of these three scores. Even if two of your scores are high, one bad score could ruin your average and severely lower your chances of getting credit. For this reason, you should be sure to check your reports from each of the three major bureaus.
