The Indian Administrative Service is the name of the administrative branch of the Indian Government's All India Services (IAS). There is a lot of work involved in passing the Indian UPSC Civil Service Exam.
It serves as one of the three foundations of the All India Services, together with the Indian Police Service and the Indian Forest Service. Both the national government of India and its constituent states employ IAS officers. Auxiliary bodies, staff & line agencies, public sector organisations, regulatory bodies, statutory bodies, and autonomous bodies are among the many government organisations for which IAS officers work. They are essential to the development of India's new strategy.
