⑴ Strictly control the baseline. When the paver is automatically leveling, it needs to have an accurate datum plane (line). The commonly used methods for determining the datum plane include the tightrope method and the floating datum beam method. When the control of height is the main thing, it is appropriate to walk a tightrope; when the control of thickness is the main thing, the floating datum beam method is adopted. Generally, the bottom layer uses a tightrope, and the middle and surface layers use the floating benchmark beam method.

(2) Strictly control the paving speed. The paver should be paving at a constant speed without stopping, and it is strictly forbidden to be fast or slow. During the paving process, stoppage should be avoided as much as possible, and the paving point that must be stopped every day should be placed at the position of the custom-made shrinkage joint at one end of the structure. In the event of a shutdown in the middle, the paver screed should be locked so that it does not sink.
(3) Standardize mechanical operation. Select skilled paver operators, professioanl asphalt equipment and conduct pre-job training.
