A long time ago, within a galaxy far, a long way away...wait, it's not right. It was only about 5 years ago that well-known role-playing developer BioWare and Star Wars game publisher LucasArts released the highly acclaimed Star Wars: Knights from the Old Republic for your PC and also the original Xbox system. The RPG told a brand-new Star Wars story, which took place in the new timeframe (thousands of years ahead of the events inside original film trilogy), and let players explore the two Light plus the Dark Sides with the Force as apprentice Jedi Knights facing SWTOR Credits an impending galactic war. And now, that universe is making its way online within the newly announced Star Wars: The Old Republic, a brand-new massively multiplayer video game, revealed at today's press event by BioWare with the LucasArts campus in San Francisco, California.
The universe of Star Wars: Knights in the Old Republic will go online.
According to BioWare cofounder Dr. Ray Muzyka, even though the traditional massively multiplayer game specializes in such things as combat, exploration, and character progression, the newest game will endeavour to introduce a "fourth pillar--story." Indeed, story will have a significant role within the game all of which will drive the motivations coming from all characters, together with Star Wars the Old Republic Credits your own. In addition to picking a profession from what LucasArts identifies as "a various...classic Star Wars roles," your character will be able to pursue an education from the mysterious ways in the Force, either to be a Jedi padawan learning the Light Side, or being a Sith apprentice, learning the ways with the Dark Side. The game can even feature "companion" characters that may join you as part of your quest and either fight alongside you, or betray you, based on their motives...and yours.
