    Classification of waterproofing materials based on the type of ingredients

    If we want to categorize waterproofing based on the type of ingredients, the following should be mentioned:

    Waterproofing

    Isogam is a pre-made layer that is attached to the surface with special adhesives. The material of this insulation layer is made of bitumen and synthetic fibers, which prevents the penetration of water and moisture to the lower level. One of the characteristics of Isogam insulation is its flexibility. Another feature of Isogam is its light weight and resistance to contraction and expansion. Rotting does not occur in this type of waterproofing and it has a useful life of 10 years.

    Liquid waterproofing

    The implementation of liquid insulation should be done using a brush or a spray device. Before applying, the surface must be completely dry and clean. It should be noted that when using this type of insulation, the surface should be checked in terms of slope and protrusion. This insulation sticks to all types of surfaces. The liquid is flame retardant. There is no pollution or physical damage. It is dyeable. It can be easily implemented without the need for expertise.

    Prefabricated waterproofing

    Prefabricated insulations are resistant to contraction and expansion due to their polyester layer. They are light weight and flexible. Another advantage of this type of insulation is resistance to temperatures of +130 degrees and -40 degrees. There is no fracture and decay in this type of insulation. This type of insulation also has disadvantages, including high cost and short life, as well as decomposition due to ultraviolet rays. The storage of this type of insulation must be done at a temperature of 5 to 35 degrees Celsius, otherwise it will rot in unfavorable conditions.

    Artflex insulation

    Artflex insulation is made using modern technology. This type of insulation is easy to install. It has a low cost and a long lifespan. The flexibility of this type of insulation has caused it to be used in the corners as well. This insulation is very resistant to water penetration. It is easy and convenient to implement this insulation because there is no need for heat to install it.
