gm fine chemicals is an organic chemical with the formula C7H9NO. Chinese name: gm fine chemicals, Chinese alias: 2-(2-hydroxyethyl) pyridine; 2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl) -1H-5-pyrazolyl) thiazole; 2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl) -1H-5-pyrazolyl) thiazole; Betadine B; 2-pyridine ethanol.

    Production method

It is prepared by addition reaction of gm fine chemicals with formaldehyde. Formaldehyde and gm fine chemicals were added to the reaction pot, nitrogen was added, stirred and heated to 125℃, the pressure was about 0.4MPa, and after reaction for 20h, vacuum distillation was carried out, and the fraction of 130-145℃(2.13kPa) was collected to obtain 2-(2-hydroxyethyl) pyridine.
