  • Delta Airline have three option in tickets as economy fare ticket, non-refundable ticket and refundable ticket. The flight changing and cancellation fee is different for each type and there are some conditions in which you can get it done.     Delta flight change fee for non-refundable tickets:


    If you are planning to fly with non-refundable tickets then make sure your travel plans are confirmed as after the risk-free cancelation period you have to pay delta airlines flight change fee. After 24 hours of booking time, the flight change fee would be $200 for domestic flights and up to $500 for international flights. Apart from the flight change fee, you need to pay the fare difference to the new flight. 


    Delta flight cancellation fee for non-refundable tickets:


    If you are looking to cancel the flight without any deduction in your basic fare then make sure to do it in the risk-free cancelation period. After that period if you cancel the flight then a flight cancelation fee will be deducted from the actual flight fare and the rest of the amount will be refunded as an e-credit. The delta cancellation fee totally depends on the destination you are traveling to and it is up to $500.


    Refund time depends on the mode of payment you choose to book flight. In the case of online payments with all type of cards, the refund will be processed within seven days. For offline payments like cash or cheque, the refund will be generated on the name of the booking passenger and will be processed within 20 business days. In most of the cases, you will receive the amount of delta airlines refund in the original source of payment or e-credit.
