India national cricket team skipper Virat Kohli posted a picture of him in Dhoni in the field. The photo was captioned:  ‘A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test @msdhoni’.

It’s not clear why Kohli posted the photo, but people in the know think that MS Dhoni will be retiring soon in all formats of cricket.

The match Kohli posted was a match against Australia during the ICC World T20 in Mohali. The team defeated India by 6 wickets during the match.

Cricket in India will never be the same again without Mahi. But according to former cricketer Sourav Ganguly, India cricket national team should prepare for a life without their mentor.

‘Every big player has to hang up his shoes. That's sport. Look in football, Maradona had to quit. There hasn't been a bigger player than him. Tendulkar, Lara, Bradman... everyone had to quit. This is the way the system has been and will be’, he said.

Indian cricket will have to get used to this thing that MS (Dhoni) won't play all the time and won't play for a longer period of time. But I feel this decision M.S. has to take’, he added.

‘players like M.S. Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Tendulkar play for a while and then there are expectations from them that they will play in a certain way and win the games. And I feel that this decision has to be taken by M.S. Dhoni’.

According to some sources, Dhoni is interested in pursuing a different path after his cricket career. The source said that Dhoni has always been interested in films and wants to try his hand at film producing.

Just recently, the wicket-keeper batsman took a month leave from cricket to do military training.
