He now joins his teammate from Clemson Clelin Ferrell who was the Raiders 1st pick in the draft at 4th overall.Mullen is a 6’1, 199lb who ran a 4.46 40 yard dash leading up to the draft, who happens to also be the first cousin of Baltimore Ravens QB Lamarr Jackson. Those back yard football games must have been a blast growing up. He started 14 of 15 games for the National Champion Clemson team and is known for his breakout performance in the Championship game where he won defensive MVP honors in their defeat of Alabama. He won that award because of his beastmode performance of 6 tackles, a sack, an interception and a forced fumble on the collegiate game’s highest stage. The extremely athletic cornerback was awarded 2nd team all conference honors for his 2018 season before deciding to forego his senior year to enter the draft. He is a guy who will need to be coached up to meet his full potential but his incredible athletic ability and quick feet make him an extremely intriguing prospect for Oakland.Raiders picks in all 7 roundsRound 1, pick 4 - Clelin Ferrell, ED, ClemsonRound 1, pick 24 (from CHI) - Josh Jacobs, RB, AlabamaRound 1, pick 27 -Johnathan Abram, S Mississippi StRound 2, Pick 40 - Trayvon Mullen, CB, ClemsonRound 4

Reporters asked Gruden about Cooper’s assertion that Gruden didn鈥檛 know about the trade, and McKenzie didn鈥檛 want to make it.“I’ve heard some things in the media that are absolutely hilarious, that aren’t even close,” Gruden said, via Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area.Gruden then trolled Stephen A. Smith, Gruden’s former colleague at ESPN. When previewing the Chargers-Chiefs game on Thursday morning, Smith mentioned he had his eye on Spencer Ware, Hunter Henry and Derrick Johnson.Ware already was ruled out with an injury; Henry tore his ACL in the offseason and hasn’t played all year; and Johnson has remained a free agent since the Raiders cut him in October.“I’m not commenting on any of that stuff,” Gruden continued in response to Cooper. “We’ve got to get ready for Dan Ross and Boobie Clark. We’ve got to watch out for Isaac Curtis down the middle. We’ve got to get Tim Brown and all our receivers ready to play.”Ross, Clark, Curtis and Brown all played for the Raiders or the Bengals back in the day.
