The 10-11 postseason Penguins fell in the first round and Lightning's tie-break, and the trapeze was swept away by Brown Bears 4-0 in the second round, netting 13 goals in four games. The 11-12 season witnessed many miracles, such as the Black's miracle of NHL Coins the Kings and the return of Bruder's back, but that season was not destined to be a penguin and Flory.

Midseason and the Kings made a startling trading. Jeff Carter and Mike Richards were sent away. Young players such as Schon, Kouturier, and Vlasak were added to the team. The first round of the playoffs, the Penn State Derby, was once again performed hotly. The Penguins had a morale up, Crosby, Kennedy, and Dupuis scored in succession, leading the Clippers to a 3-0 lead in the first quarter. The trapeze team broke out with a renewed fighting spirit. Breyer's scored twice and Schon's goal allowed the trapeze to drag the game into overtime. Wolasek hammered the tone in overtime 2 minutes and 33 seconds. The trapeze once completed once again. Great reversal.
