Asserting that some central bank of india were attempting to deceive a segment of contributors of the three state-run banks which will be converged into an element by guiding them to move their stores, a top UBI official on Saturday said that the proposed amalgamated moneylender will hold the "sovereign status".
In the greatest solidification practice in the financial space, the Center had declared that the United Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce would be converged with Punjab National Bank, making the proposed element the second biggest open area bank (PSB).

Addressing journalists here, United Bank of India MD and CEO Ashok Kr Pradhan said that the "sovereign status of the amalgamated substance won't be weakened as government property in these banks are exceptionally high".
