    • Re-install the software with a newly-downloaded file.

    • Uninstall other third-party software.

    • Change the port to IMAP-993-SSL SMTP-465-SSL.

    • Change the server settings to Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.aol.com Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.aol.com.

    • Select the protocol Imap.

    • Try to remove infected files by scanning through antivirus.

    • Check your hard disk is working well if not replaced with a brand new one.
