  Finally, a fan-favorite mode in NBA 2K22 will be returning to the game's MyTeam section. A long time has passed since Draft mode was last available, and 2K22 will bring it back for fans. Apart from giving players the opportunity to earn some top-tier rewards, the mode also allows them to test out highly-rated players before purchasing them from the Market and incorporating them into their starting lineups.

  

  As you might expect, draft mode functions exactly as you would expect. It is your responsibility to choose two players from each of the six packs that you will open and include them in your starting lineup. The packs are organized according to positions, so you'll get at least two players from each position as well as a coach in each one of them. The seventh pack, on the other hand, is referred to as the Featured Pack by Visual Concepts. This pack contains three of the most recent players to be introduced into the game, who you can use to bolster your team's roster. -Visual Concepts will be able to keep the mode constantly updated with new players while the position packs will change less frequently as a result.
  
  A brand new Ascension board for Draft mode is being introduced by Visual Concepts today! You may not be familiar with the Ascension board if you haven't played MyTeam in a few years. It is a prize board where you can select random prizes and try to move up to higher boards by making the correct guesses as you progress through the game. The Ascension player can be obtained if you manage to make it to the top of the leaderboard. You will receive NBA 22 MT and one pick on the Ascension board for each Draft you participate in Draft mode. Every victory will increase the number of picks you have on the board, increasing your chances of winning the grand prize in the process.

  The company also revealed details about an upcoming tournament called MyTEAM Unlimited, which will take place in conjunction with the new updates and additions. The competition will be divided into two events, each with a prize pool of $250,000: one will be held for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and the other will be held for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.   The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D. C. (excluding AZ, CT, MD, and ND), Canada (excluding Quebec), Australia, Chile, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hong Kong, Republic of Ireland, Indonesia, Israel, Germany, Japan, Macau, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey, who a) are 18 years or older and b) have a validArizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota, Quebec, and any other state where it is illegal to do so are excluded. For participants on the PlayStation (PS) and Xbox (XBOX), there will be two separate tracks to choose from.
  
  The NBA® 2K22 game ("Game"), Xbox Gold Service or PlayStation Plus service, and an Internet connection are required in order to take part in the competition. Games on PS4 and Xbox One are required for Track 1, while PS5 and Xbox X/S are required for Track 2 (no PCs allowed for this track). A total of three parts make up this Contest: (i) the Pre-Qualifying Period; (ii) the GameDays; and, finally, (iii) the Championship. To be eligible to participate in the GameDays, you must first qualify during the Pre-Qualifying Period. Starting on September 10, 2021, at 12:00:00 a. m. local time, the Pre-Qualifying Period begins. First GameDay is scheduled for October 16, 2021, and the final GameDay is scheduled for February 19, 2022. A qualifying round will be held on March 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM U. S. Pacific Time for Track 1 and on March 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM U. S. Pacific Time for Track 2. You must qualify to participate in the Tournament, which is currently scheduled to take place on March 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM U. S. Pacific Time for Track 2.
