
IPL 2020 will be held in UAE from 19 September to 8 November and IPL chairman Brajesh Patel has given this information. The schedule of IPL 2020 can be released in the next week's meeting and it is expected that by then the government will also get permission. Meanwhile, New Zealand Cricket has confirmed that it is ready to give a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to its players participating in the IPL.
New Zealand Cricket spokesman (spokesperson) Richard Brook said that he is ready to give their players NOC to play in the IPL and it is entirely up to the players whether they want to play in the IPL or not. On the other hand, it has been reported from Cricket Australia that no decision will be taken on the NOC until the BCCI is officially confirmed.
In the IPL 2020, 6 players from New Zealand and 14 from Australia are going to participate. For New Zealand, Kane Williamson (Sunrisers Hyderabad), Trent Boult (Mumbai Indians), Mitchell McClenaghan (Mumbai Indians), James Neesham (Kings XI Punjab), Loki Ferguson (Kolkata Knight Riders) and Mitchell Santner (Chennai Super Kings) are playing for different teams in IPL 2020.
From Australia, in IPL 2020 Aaron Finch (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Josh Philip (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Ken Richardson (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Chris Lynn (Mumbai Indians), Nathan Coulter-Nile (Mumbai Indians), Josh Hazlewood ( Chennai Super Kings), Shane Watson (Chennai Super Kings), Alex Carey (Delhi Capitals), Marcus Stoinis (Delhi Capitals), Glenn Maxwell (Kings XI Punjab), Pat Cummins (Kolkata Knight Riders), Chris Green (Kolkata Knight Riders), Steve Smith ( Rajasthan Royals) and Andrew Tye (Rajasthan Royals) are participating.
Earlier, the ICC had postponed the 2020 World T20 to 2021 and that is why the IPL got a window in September.
