Installation Method of Wind Sensor

  Wind direction sensor, wind speed sensor fixed in the cross-arm after installed on the wind rod. There are various forms of wind rods, the common one is the wind rod which can be placed by three sections of metal round tubes connected to make a test wind rod that can be put down. The seven-prong and twelve-prong plugs installed above the cylinder at both ends of the arm are used to connect the wind speed sensor and wind direction sensor respectively. A twelve-core cable plug is installed below the cylinder at one end of the arm for connecting to the twelve-core wind direction and wind speed cable of the collector. The wind direction and wind speed sensor is installed in the following order:

  

  1. Assemble the sensor

  Read the sensor manual prepared by the sensor manufacturer, and assemble the disassembled sensor according to the requirements of the manual. Then, install the wind direction and speed sensor on the corresponding cylinder of the cross arm in the room.

  2. Assemble the wind rod

  A. Install the hinged mount on the base of the wind rod, adjust the level and fasten it with two M20 nuts;

  B. On the ground will be three sections of metal round rod in accordance with the order of thickness, the wind sensor cable through the hinged seat

  3. Install the wind sensor

  A. Install the base for fixing the wind sensor at the top of the wind rod;

  B. Install the wind sensor on the base at the top of the wind bar. If the horizontal arm and the ground level, the horizontal arm is north-south, if the prevailing wind is to be considered, the angle between the horizontal arm and the ground should be calculated so that the wind sensor can point north.

  4. Installation of lightning protection devices

  Install the lightning rod on the top of the wind rod, and use copper screws to fix the lead wire to the lightning rod. If the grounding device under the wind rod, the lead wire along the exterior of the wind rod and down; if the grounding device under the base of the lasso, the lead wire along the lasso and down. Every 1m, with line buckle tie.

  5. Vertical wind rod

  Vertical wind pole should be more than one person to work together, and in the direction of the wind pole can fall down without standing people.

  6. Directional calibration

  Use the north pointing needle with mirror to check whether the north pointing rod on the wind sensor points north, a slight error can loosen the foot screw, slightly rotate the whole wind rod, so that the north pointing needle on the wind sensor points north. If the error is very large, it should be put into the wind rod and turn the cross arm. After the wind direction is correct, you should check whether the wind rod is vertical, you can tighten or relax the cable for adjustment.

  7. Completion check

  There should be no particularly tight or loose lasso, and all the screws have been tightened.
