PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a very good initiative which aims at helping the farmers of India. In this government scheme the farmers of India will get a financial support. This financial support is up to rupees six thousand annually. This scheme is launched to help the small and middle scale farmers.
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana comes under the Department of Agriculture , Cooperation and Farmers Welfare under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
The Department of Agriculture , Cooperation and Farmers Welfare has launched a web portal where a farmer can find all solutions to his queries. This web portal is launched to provide farmers a platform where they can find the list of government schemes that have been launched for them.
By this portal farmers can do registration and can check their status for the schemes they are eligible. If a farmer finds himself eligible for a certain government scheme then he can apply there only for that scheme using the PM KISAN Web portal.
