Applications of High Purity Boron Trifluoride:

    For the synthesis of borohydride.

For the production of boron nitride and other boron compounds.

It is used as the basic raw material for the production of ultrapure elemental boron with a purity of min. 99.5%.

For the production of high tensile strength boron fibers.

Used as a catalyst in cationic polymerization.

For the removal of nitrides, carbides and oxides from aluminium, magnesium, zinc and copper melts.

For the production of lower boron chloride (diboron tetrachloride, tetraboron tetrachloride, boron oxychloride).
