
CTS laser-plate making technology is more and more widely used in the screen printing industry. From the initial clothing printing to the current high-precision product printing, as CTS technology become more and more mature, and it is don't need film or inkjet,environmental friendly,the CTS in inevitable trend in future and will replace traditional screen plate making gradually.

Today, CTS is helping industries such as the mobile phone shell industry, vehicle display screen, education display screens and other industries to go to a more refined direction.
For example, in the mobile phone shell industry, the screen printing on the shell, especially the position around the lens requires an error no more than 5-10 micro meters. it is very difficult for the traditional film exposuring method . However, it can be easily achieved by using CTS without need of skilled technicians.
In the traditional plate making process, the following problems become almost insurmountable obstacle:
1、Because the thickness of the film will cause light refraction, the edge of the pattern will be jagged edges.
2、During traditional exposuring, vacuumize is important step. which will cause certain deformation of the screen and film.
3、The deviation of the angle of the light source will also cause the generation of jagged edges and the deviation of the size
4、The conventional iodine gallium lamp light source will gradually weaken, so the operator needs to have a wealth of experience to control the exposuring time, or to control the time according to the energy value absorbed by the photosensitive material. However, too long exposure time also aggravates the refraction problem caused by the film.
In summary, in high-precision industries such as mobile phone and electronics, controlling of each link mentioned above has become very difficult. it need to produce light-painting film above 25400dpi, and cooperate with high-precision parallel light exposure machine. Film is a consumable. Generally speaking, a big plate-making factory needs to invest a lot of money on film producing every year. And it requires continuous investment year after year, and in the film production process, the heavy metals contained in the chemicals can't be removed efficiently, causing ecological damage. In the environmental protection requirement and regulation of every country, the production of film becomes more and more difficult
With the CTS,the cost of film and parallel light equipment was largely saved. In addition, the optical accuracy of the equipment can reach 16900dpi. the different from the film 25400dpi accuracy, CTS can directly act on the photosensitive material, avoiding the loss of film thickness. Therefore, at this point, the accuracy of CTS equipment is much higher than the traditional film plate making. In addition, the CTS laser is irradiated vertically, and the laser is parallel light, which will not cause problems such as tilting irradiation and refraction of the light source.
Because of the characteristics of traditional plate making, when making high-precision screens, it is needs to choose high-precision photosensitive materials mainly imported from Japan, it will cost too much money, and it is difficult to control. On the contrary: the CTS just need general-precision emulsion is OK which can save much money.
