PPR is the abbreviation of three-type polypropylene, also known as random copolymer polypropylene pipe. It adopts the method of heat welding, has special welding and cutting tools, and has high plasticity. The price is also very economical. With the addition of thermal insulation layer, the thermal insulation performance is better, and the pipe wall is also very smooth, excluding the joints of the inner and outer wires. It is generally used in embedded walls, or in pre-embedded pipes in deep wells. PPR pipe is moderate in price, stable in performance, heat-resisting, heat-insulating, corrosion-resistant, smooth inner wall without scaling, safe and reliable in the pipeline system, impermeable, and has a service life of up to 50 years. However, the construction technical requirements are high, and special tools and professionals are required for construction to ensure the safety of the system.

PPR pipe properties
Beautiful appearance and light weight
The inner and outer walls are smooth, the fluid resistance is small, the soft color is beautiful, and the shape is only 1/20 of the metal pipe, which is convenient for transportation and installation.
Cost-effective and environmentally friendly
As a new type of water pipe material, PPR pipe has unique advantages. It can be used as a cold water pipe or a hot water pipe. The PPR pipe interface adopts hot-melt technology, and the line is completely fused. Therefore, once the installation and pressure test are qualified, it will not age and leak for a long time like the aluminum-plastic pipe.
Insulation and Thermal Insulation
The thermal conductivity of the metal pipe is only 1200 for the good thermal insulation effect of the hot water pipe.
long lasting
PPR piping can serve you for over 50 years in varying environmental conditions and a wide range of fluids. What's more, PPR piping can withstand cold and hot water systems. To help you understand, PPR pipes can withstand the pressure and strain of hot water without bursting. The premise, of course, is that the 50-year lifespan is only guaranteed under normal use conditions, such as protecting pipes from extreme weather. At the same time, unlike other common types of plastic pipes, PPR pipes are structurally able to withstand shock even in cold weather installations without any risk of cracking or breaking.
Easy installation and reliable connection

Chemical and Mechanical Durability
Compared to traditional plastic piping systems, PPR has a very high resistance to hard particle abrasion. This is especially important in well water or industrial applications where the transferred fluid may contain abrasive particles. Furthermore, unlike traditional metal pipes, PPRs are inert to most electrolytes and chemicals over a wide temperature range. This electrolytic and chemical inertness makes PPR pipes safe to use in situations of high salinity (such as in swimming pool applications using seawater) and even highly corrosive chemicals (such as in industrial applications).
Eco-economic efficiency
Due to the light weight of PPR pipe, its transportation, handling and installation do not require a lot of energy consumption or manual labor. At the same time, they are easy to cut, connect and use, making them more economically sustainable. Also, connecting the PPR pipes and fittings is done by heating only and does not require any additional chemicals or materials. All of these factors help PPR reduce environmental impact and cost of use.
Precautions
1. PPR pipes and fittings are connected by hot melt, but they cannot be directly threaded on the pipes and fittings. When connecting with metal pipes, flange connections can be used. When connecting with water heaters, pipe fittings with metal inserts must be used. ;
2. In the process of hot-melt connection, reliable hot-melt equipment must be used, which can ensure the welding quality;
3. When using special scissors to cut PPR pipes vertically, ensure that the incision is kept flat and free of burrs;
4. The welding parts of PPR pipes and fittings must be clean to prevent sand and dust from damaging the quality of the joints;
5. When inserting into the welding, the equipment must be heated according to the specified time of pipes and fittings;
6. After the heating is completed, take out the pipe and pipe fittings for connection. If you find that these two positions are wrong, then you can make corresponding adjustments within a certain period of time;
7. After the connection of the agent PPR pipe, you must hold the pipes and fittings firmly with both hands to maintain sufficient cooling time. When the cooling is to a certain extent, you can let go and continue to install the pipe. After the connection is completed, the white PPR pipe should be colored on the wall or on the ground. Paint marks the exact location of the lines to avoid damaging the fittings again.
