As we all know, all investment castings involve many manufacturing steps. CFS bucket tooth adopts investment casting process, also known as lost wax casting, including wax injection, tree assembly, shell molding, dewaxing, metal casting and other post-processing. The biggest advantage of investment casting is that it can obtain high dimensional accuracy, good surface finish, and the ability to cast complex shapes of all alloys.
The following are the various steps of the bucket tooth casting process in our factory:
Bucket Tooth Mold Design
Step 1. Design bucket teeth with different appearances and sizes according to market demand.
Step 2. Equipped with a full set of mold processing equipment and a professional technical team, we can process all kinds of precision casting, including bucket teeth
The third step, wax mold making is the first step in casting bucket teeth. A wax pattern is used to form the cavity of the refractory shell. Therefore, to obtain high-quality bucket teeth with high dimensional accuracy and surface finish, the wax mold itself should have such high precision and surface finish. But how can we get a qualified wax model? In addition to designing a good mold, we also need to choose an excellent wax material and a suitable wax mold process. The advantages of CFS wax patterns are low melting point, good surface finish and size, high strength and light weight.
Step 4. Tree assembly is the process of pasting the wax model of the bucket teeth to the gate system.
Step 5. The main steps of building a shell include:
a. Degreasing the tree - In order to improve the wetting ability of the coating, we need to remove the oil on the surface of the wax model.
b. Dip the tree components into the ceramic coating and sandblast the surface.
c. Dry and harden the ceramic pieces. Each coat of the ceramic shell needs to dry and harden.
d. After the ceramic shell is fully hardened, we need to remove the wax pattern from the shell, this process is called dewaxing. According to different heating methods, there are many dewaxing methods, and the same pressure steam method is mostly used.
e. Porcelain shell
The sixth step is to pour the metal liquid alloy to fill the shell cavity.
The seventh step is the cleaning of cast bucket teeth, including shelling, sprue section, attached refractory material and cleaning after heat treatment, such as scale.
Step 8: After heat treatment, the structure of the bucket teeth is uniform, the wear resistance is greatly improved, and the service life is doubled compared to before.
The ninth step is to effectively prevent unqualified products from flowing into the market by comprehensively testing the material and mechanical properties of the bucket teeth.
Step 10. Painted in yellow, black, green, etc. to suit different brands and machines.
Step 11. Pack the teeth into standard wooden boxes to prevent damage and deliver to our customers.
