  Many netizens believe that the tarpaulin about making presidential aspirant Leni Robredo a divine being is blasphemy. It is a shameful act of disrespect, mocking the Holy Virgin Mary.

   

  However, why do lots of Catholic devotees tolerate this blasphemous poster picture? Is it because those behind this are her supporters from the kakampink and pinklawan?

  Using the Biblical quote “Hail Leni full of grace my vote is with you” is an impious act just to push the candidacy of Robredo. Her name should not be used as a replacement for Mother Mary.

   

  In fact, Leni should not be compared to a divine figure in Catholicism because many devotees have high respect for the Mother of Jesus.

   

  Presidential aspirant Leni Robredo is backed by several religious leaders such as priests, nuns, and ministers. They believe she can save the Philippines from corruption, poverty, etc.

   

  Thus, various Leni pages promoted the photo that went viral on social media. The candidate's supporters were seen carrying a poster picture of her. 

   

  At first, it was said to be fake and edited. However, the netizens have confirmed another authentic photo taken from a distance.

   

  The picture carried by several supporters is like the first one that went viral, although the shot was from a different angle.

   

  In a nutshell, Leni is only human, and she should not be compared to the divinity of the Virgin Mary. Putting her name in place of the divine being is an act of blasphemy. It is a terrible way of campaigning.
