1. Hot-rolled steel plate can be divided into two types: thin steel plate and thick steel plate. The marking symbol of the steel plate is "-(steel plate section code) width*thickness*length", the unit is "mm", or only "-width* Thickness" or "-thickness" to indicate.
2. Hot-rolled type Commonly used hot-rolled steel includes angle steel, channel steel, I-beam, H-shaped steel and steel pipe.
① Angle steel Angle steel can be divided into two types, divided into equilateral or unequal angle steel. The angle steel marking symbol is "L (equal angle steel code) side width * thickness (equal side angle steel)" or "L side width * short side width * thickness (unequal side angle steel)", the unit is "mm".
② Channel steel includes hot-rolled common channel steel and light channel steel. Channel steel specifications are indicated by channel steel symbols. When the thickness of the cladding plate is different, the web thickness type symbols a, b, and c should also be marked, and the thickness from a to c increases sequentially. The flange and web of light channel steel with the same cross-sectional height as ordinary channel steel are thinner, the cross-sectional area is small, but the radius of gyration is large and the weight is relatively light.
③ I-steel plate expands ordinary I-steel and light I-steel. When marking, use the symbols "I" and "QI", such as I50a, QI50a.
④ The flange width of H-shaped steel is larger than that of I-shaped steel, and the flange width is equal, and the material distribution of the section is more reasonable. The bending resistance of the strong shaft is also higher than that of the I-beam, and the amount of steel used is 10-30 percent less than that of the I-beam. The flange of the H-shaped steel is of equal thickness, which is convenient for connection with other components. H-shaped steel can be easily processed into profiles such as T-shaped steel and honeycomb beams to meet the needs of engineering. According to (GB/T 11263-2010) "Hot-rolled H-shaped steel and split T-shaped steel", hot-rolled H-shaped steel is divided into wide-flange H-shaped steel, middle-flange H-shaped steel, narrow-flange H-shaped steel, and thin-walled H-shaped steel. Section steel, their code names are divided into HW, HM, HN, HT, and the behavior is represented by "height * width".
⑤ Hot-rolled seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes are commonly used in steel structures, expressed in "outer diameter * wall thickness", and the unit is "mm".
3. Thin-walled steel is generally processed by cold bending of 1.5-6mm thick steel plate. Compared with hot-rolled section steel with the same interface area, the amount of steel can be significantly reduced, but the plate wall is thinner.
