Introduction:
Low temperature chiller is a kind of industrial chiller. Many industries require low temperature cooling. They are commonly used for cooling in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Ordinary chillers cannot meet the refrigeration requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to use a low-temperature chiller to provide water of tens of degrees below zero. Low temperature water cooled chiller (the general water temperature is set to 0℃ to (-40) ℃). The working intensity of low temperature chiller is relatively high. We need to carry out good maintenance of the chiller in daily use, in order to avoid the failure of the low-temperature chiller and ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Failure to maintain will result in production loss or safety risks. So how to maintain low temperature chiller?

1.Inspection of low temperature chiller:
Before using the low-temperature chiller, it is necessary to troubleshoot and repair the whole machine.
First check whether the power switch is normal, whether the safety of the fuse is good, whether the connection of other parts of the chiller is normal, to ensure that everything is normal before starting to run.
Secondly, after the use of the chiller, it should also be checked to see whether there is a fault because of use, and it should be dealt with in time.
In addition, after long-term use of low-temperature chiller, the use of heater copper pipe, frozen oil, oil filter element, filter dryer and other components should be checked regularly. If it is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
2.Maintenance of low temperature chiller:
①The antifreeze
When the ambient temperature is below zero and the chiller stops running, the concentration and density of the refrigerant in the evaporator should be checked to prevent freezing. Cooling water system can keep the cooling pump running for 24 hours or discharge cooling water.
②Maintenance of electric control system
Now we use mostly intelligent electrical refrigeration equipment, electronic control system of intelligent controller (PLC and single chip microcomputer), control panel, AC contactor and other electrical components. There will be a power outage within a year, and there will be a lot of dust in the power outage. Clean up all the electrical components, clean up before powering on, to prevent battery exhaustion and loss of programs in the controller.
③Daily maintenance of the unit
General water-cooled chiller use one to two years to do a routine maintenance (including the replacement of frozen oil filter dry filter element), to ensure that the use of the unit is more stable and efficient.
④clean the condenser and cooling tower
Condenser and cooling tower are a circulation system, usually the cooling tower is open circulation, heat exchange with the air for a long time, when the unit exit cooling tower packing and cooling water will produce a lot of dust and silt. Cooling tower packing, bottom plate and condenser pipeline should be cleaned when using.
Good maintenance of low-temperature chiller can effectively prolong its service life, maintain long-term efficient operation of the chiller, improve production efficiency, and bring more benefits to enterprises.
