Checked into a hotel, they gave me an occupied room.

This clown was the worst ever in many ways but when I walked into my room and saw a suitcse on the floor and a purse on the bed...

I was like, WTF? I back out and a lady opens the door (it's almost midnight BTW, she could have been naked or in bed) I was like, "I am so sorry, he gave me a key..."

I knew this guy was a tool when I checked in, he was clearly incompetent and full of attitude but in 20 years of travel I have never seen anything like it. The occupied room is only half of the story, but the story is boring so I'll spare you.

There is a point where you have enough time with a hotel chain that they give you lifetime elite status. I have that. If I lodge a complaint against this guy he is going to have a very rough time of it. Normally I wouldn't dream of doing it.

I'm not so sure this clown doesn't deserve it.

Damn, that's a horror story I've experienced as well. This is a story you definitely wanna hear. I was on a trip with my girlfriend of two months and we booked some sketchy hotels we found online. I had just recently gotten out of a pretty long relationship that my current girlfriend knew about, and she always got jealous whenever she heard about my ex. Knowing my luck, I should've guessed what could happen: just as we arrived in the room we booked, guess who was lying on the bed, naked, my ex!! My girl was so mad during that vacation because she thought I pulled a stupid prank on her. At least we're now staying at a hotel near me open now, so we don't have to deal with all that bs.
