The Hungarians won the K4 women's 500m race with its team of Ninetta Vad, Gabriella Szabo, Danuta Kozak, and Anna Karasz; the K1 men's race where Miklos Dudas was victorious; the C1 women's 200m race where Zsanett Lakatos triumphed; and the C2 women's 500m event taken by Zsanett Lakatos and Kincso Takacs.
The Hungarians also came in second three times and took four third places.
Germany was another major contender on the final day, winnin four races, two second places and three third places.
