Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard to open the Task Manager.
Go to the Processes or Details tab (depending on your Windows version).
Look for any running QuickBooks processes (e.g., QBW32.EXE, QBDBMgr.exe, QBDBMgrN.exe) and end them.
Close the Task Manager.
Restart your computer:
Restarting your computer can help clear any temporary glitches or conflicts.
Run QuickBooks as Administrator:
Right-click on the QuickBooks icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.
Select "Run as administrator" from the context menu.
If prompted by User Account Control, click "Yes" to grant administrative privileges to QuickBooks.
