If the McAfee software encounters any installation error you will see a red banner and a message with ‘Error 0’. You can try any of the solutions given below to fix the installation error related to McAfee:

• Delete all McAfee files and restart the installation
• Download and run the McAfee Pre-install tool
• Use McAfee Virtual Technician to fix minor issues
• Change your DNS settings on your network and retry
• Open a new browser and download the McAfee installation package again
