    • Missing document in your establishment of QuickBooks.

    Solution 1: Rename.ND and.TLD Files

    • Open the folder that contains the company files.
    •  Find the files with the same file name as your company file but with extensions.ND and.TLD.  Example: company_file.qbw.nd, company_file.qbw.tlg.
    • Right-click.ND/.TLG files and select rename and add the word “.old” after the file extension and press enter. Example: company_file.nd.OLD, company_file.qbw.tlg.OLD

    Solution 2: Recreate Damaged Folder:

    • Create a new folder on C drive.
    • Open the folder where the company file is saved.
    • Locate the .qbw file. Example: company_file.qbw.
    • Right-click the .qbw file and select copy.
    • Open the new folder right-click and select paste.
    • Set windows access permission to share company files.
    • Open QuickBooks Desktop and open the file from a new location.

    Solution 3: Copy the QuickBooks file on the desktop

    • Find the file with the extension of.QBW.
    • Right-click on the file then select copy, go to desktop right-click anywhere on the desktop and then select paste.
    • While holding down the control key, so open QuickBooks so you are directed to the No Company Open window. 
    • Click open or restore an existing company file you copied and open.

    Solution 4: Open the Company file manually:

    • Find the file with the extension of.QBW.
    • Right-click the file and select copy.
    • Go to desktop, right-click on the desktop and select paste.
    • While holding down the control key open QuickBooks so you are directed to the no company open window.
    • Click open or restore an existing company. Navigate to the desktop find the company file you copied and open.

    Solution 5: Close all QuickBooks Processes:

    • Log in as the administrator on the server computer.
    • Press ctrl + shift + ESC to bring up the task manager.
    • Show processes to all users by selecting the users' tab. 
    • Highlight each QuickBooks process (QBW32.EXE, qbupdate.exe, QBDBMgr.exe, ) then select the end task.
    • Open the company file in the multiuser mode.
