    You can perform a clean install of QuickBooks by removing and then installing QuickBooks Desktop again.

    Step 1: Remove QuickBooks, open the Windows Start menu, then search for "Control Panel," then open Control Panel.

    Step 2: Install the QuickBooks Desktop again, and when you're done, install QuickBooks Desktop.
