I have termite problems in my house, can a pest control service help with this?

I live on a farm. And here rats are a very big problem. We keep all our wheat in the barn, and this is the place where rats like to come and make their nest. We tried a lot of methods of killing them but there were too many rats. My family didn't like that our wheat is eaten by rats so we decide to call some professionals that will do their job. In just four days our barn was clear without a rat. They said that the probability that they will come back is very high so we should put some traps, so we still have the chance to kill them before they make a nest.
