If you cancel your flight after 24 hours of booking the flight, you will be asked to pay a cancellation fee based on the type of trip of your flight you booked.
After completing the cancellation process Air Canada will send you a cancellation card confirmation email. You must then apply for a refund within 24 hours of cancellation to receive a refund of your ticket price.
You can apply for a refund online or you can also call the UAE to request a refund.
Air Canada will return the amount to the original payment status you used when booking the flight within 7 days of submitting the refund request.
The refund amount you will receive will be after deducting the cancellation fee is applied from the actual ticket price.
Under Air Canada cancellation policy, you will only receive a refund for tickets that are refundable or partially refundable.
Flights booked directly with Air Canada can be canceled online from the 'Booking Management' section available on the Air Canada website. If you are a member of Skywards, you can log in to your Air Canada account. Otherwise, specify the booking reference number and the last name of the passenger to continue the ticket cancellation process.
