I'm using my New Horizon TV from the UK (in France) and I'm having trouble accessing the BBC iPlayer using a VPN. The provider is NordVPN.
I can access i player using the same VPN provider and account (allowing up to 6 devices to be used simultaneously) on multiple Mac products and a Samsung phone in the same location.
Horizon TV allows me to download the Nord VPN app from Google Play, but when I try to access i Player, I get an error message "02001" saying that there is a problem loading this page.
NordVPN reported that this must be a problem with the TV setup, as I can access the iplayer from the same location on multiple devices using the same account.
Any explanation and hopefully a correction would be highly appreciated.
Try a different VPN
In general, there are many different VPNs, and not all work well, believe me. It is best to use paid VPN. They are more high-quality and reliable. In short, they do their job correctly. If you are working in a browser that you should try using a proxy server, you will not have any problems. I was once given this advice by my best friend, and now I am pleased to use a proxy. In general, you should read more about it on this site https://www.proxies.com/about, maybe you will like it, and you will already try it. Good luck to you.
