    • If a specific window is unresponsive, try closing it using the "X" button in the upper-right corner.

    • Press the keys together, “Ctrl + Shift + Esc” as this will open the Task Manager. Find QuickBooks processes, select them, and click "End Task."

    • Press “Command + Option + Esc” together on your keyboard to open the Force Quit Applications window. Select QuickBooks and click "Force Quit."

    • Close QuickBooks completely and reopen it.

    • If the application remains frozen, reboot your computer.
