Music lyrics are often misunderstood because they are not only symbolic of the artist or songwriter's thoughts but also have a contextual meaning.
There are two main types of lyrics in the music industry:

1. Lyrics that are written by musicians who are musicians.
2. Lyrics that are written by lyricists who are poets and authors.

Musicians who work with lyricists do not always write their own lyrics because they want to focus on playing an instrument or singing, instead of writing lyrics. The lyricist's role is to make the song more descriptive and meaningful by adding specific details like place names, people names, dates, etc., which does not exist in the original music composition (or at least not in enough detail).
