You might find a number of posts out there highlighting in detail the educational and other amenities of the Kazakh National Medical University. While this is important for the popularity of the university, another very important reason is its international appeal, which has been made possible by the university’s international collaborations: -

1. It has tied up with the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and launched 4 programs. These are the General Medicine and Dentistry Programs (6 Years each) and the Pediatrics and Pharmacy Courses (5 years each). 

2. It has also launched a 3+1 Public Health program with SUNY, Albanu (USA). While the first 3 years of study will be in the Kazakh National Medical University, the +1 will be in SUNY.
