Hi everyone, I recently downloaded the Exness MT4 platform for Windows, but I’ve been having trouble installing it on my Windows 11 laptop. The setup file runs, but the installation freezes halfway and doesn't complete. I’ve tried disabling antivirus and running it as administrator, but no luck so far. Has anyone experienced the same issue? I’m pretty new to trading, so I might be missing something basic. Here’s what worked for me:
Uninstall any partially installed versions of MT4.
Right-click the installer from the above link and choose Properties. Under Compatibility, check “Run this program in compatibility mode” and select “Windows 8”.
Run the installer as administrator again.
If it still hangs, reboot and install with antivirus temporarily disabled (then re-enable it after setup).
