Today (October 29th), the reporter learned from China Southern Airlines’ Yiwu market branch that on October 29, China Southern Airlines’ Shantou Company successfully introduced the 15th capacity—B-1918 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The new aircraft was put into operation on the same day in Yiwu-Guangzhou, Yiwu-Hong Kong, and other routes. The newly-introduced aircraft has 172 seats and is currently the largest number of seats in China Southern Airlines' Shantou Boeing 737-800 fleet.

After the introduction of new capacity, China Southern Airlines Shantou Company opened two new routes in Yiwu-Chongqing and Yiwu-Xi'an in the new winter and spring season. Among them, Chongqing has three classes per week (weeks 2, 4 and 7) and Xi’an has one class per day. The opening of two new routes has provided great convenience for Zhezhong region to travel to these cities or carry out business activities.
