What Makes Jinquan EMR830 Cassette Printer Different?
Jinquan medical started with automatic archiving systems for blocks and slides in 2018. We encountered a lot of challenges in the beginning, the barcode on the blocks or the slides were not high resolution enough to scan, printed from thermal transfer, inkjet printer. An efficient barcode tracking system depends on barcoded on the blocks or slides that are scannable. If the barcodes on the embedding cassettes won’t scan, the process is interrupted, workflow bottlenecks occur, and the integrity of the data can be compromised.We made a lot of market research, evaluated and developed our own infrared laser printers in 2018. Undoubtedly, barcode-based identification and tracking of specimens did streamline workflows, enhance productivity and specimen traceability, and reduce errors.
However, we found difficult to print some cassettes, the printers were not compatible with all cassettes, that means, need closed cassettes with special laser engragving powder, otherwise could damage the writing surface, prone to cause smudge while processed in the chemical solvent. Besides, high power laser over 5 watt could generate fumes and smoke while printing, very dangerous and not healthy for end users. This motivated JQ to develop the ultraviolet laser printer in 2019. Not only require zero consumables(no ink and ribbon replacement, no clogged nozzel and broken printhead), but also adapting to all standard acetal cassettes on the market. Which definitely increases the workflow, and save a lot of cost.
