Attach the Garmin Nuvi to a computer using a data transfer USB cable
- Start MapSource and choose the tools menu.
- Choose the Map option that you will get under the Tools menu.
- Choose the map regions that you want to install.
- Click on the transfer menu and choose the send to device from this menu.
- Make sure that the device comes up in the Device field that you should get precisely below the Find Device option.
- Click on the Send option, and you are done with loading the maps on the device.
