The only "bean counters" I had to deal with in education were those who count how many different ways you teach kids to get the answer (even if an alternate way requires an advanced domyhomework4me.onl degree), or, worse, how many different right answers there are, or, how many ways I can "combine" physics with literature, or how many different "activities" I can put into 90 minutes, or how many different "learning styles" indulge.
