Our company is planning to upgrade three conference rooms and I'm looking for guidance on video conferencing services that can handle our growing remote collaboration needs. We have about 50 employees with roughly 30% working remotely full-time.
Currently, we're using basic webcams and laptop speakers, which creates terrible echo problems and makes it hard for remote participants to engage effectively. Multiple people have complained about audio quality during client presentations, which is becoming a real problem for our business image.
Our budget is approximately $15,000 per room, and we need systems that integrate with both Microsoft Teams and Zoom since different clients prefer different platforms. The rooms vary in size from 6-person to 12-person capacity.
What I'm most concerned about is ease of use. Our team isn't particularly tech-savvy, so we need something intuitive that doesn't require IT support every time someone wants to start a meeting. Should we be looking at all-in-one solutions or building custom setups? Also, how important is camera tracking technology versus fixed cameras? Any insights would be appreciated!
