Some of my main interests are hypermedia, computer-mediated communications technologies, media, and culture. Hypermedia and hypertext, content management and online publication, file systems, distributed systems, and peer-to-peer networking have all piqued my attention throughout the years. I'm fascinated by two topics: information retrieval and digital information preservation. I am a staunch advocate of both free and open source software and the right to free speech.
