AE must have sufficient knowledge of all these disciplines in order to provide marketing managers with insights and suggestions and to feedback a comprehensive and logical summary to the advertising company. Some of the requirements of AE are:
• AE must have strong communication skills. They must be able to communicate advertising agency in Dubai newsletters, budgets, and schedules through the correct channels within the advertising agency. It also requires excellent time management and attention to detail.
• The account executive must guide the creative work of the advertising agency within the scope of the briefing. Need to fully understand the customer's market, products, and competitors.
• AE must ensure compliance with all advertising agencies' systems, and all client/ad agency communications are clear and concise.
• The senior management of the advertising agency must also understand and update all agency accounts and project information.
• AE needs to find new business for the agency-test their just-starting sales skills!
• Financial skills are also required-from budget management and reporting of the organization and clients to the organization's overall activities and media management. Pro-activity is also highly valued by advertising companies.
