Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350 meters)

Your trip begins when you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The city, rich in culture and history, greets you with open arms. After your journey, check into your accommodation and spend some time relaxing.

Day 2: Sightseeing Around Kathmandu Valley and Buying Necessary Gear

Today is all about preparing and exploring. Spend the day exploring the Kathmandu Valley, including historic monuments such as Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. In the afternoon, purchase any last-minute excursion gear.

Day 3: Briefing About the Expedition in the Tourism Ministry

We will receive an official briefing about the expedition at the Tourism Ministry. This workshop is critical for understanding the next obstacles and ensuring that all permits are in place. Use the remainder of the day to finish packing and enjoy your final evening in Kathmandu.

Day 4: Flight to Lukla and Trek to Chutanga (2,840 meters / 3,450 meters) — 40 minutes flight, 4 hours trek

An early morning flight takes us to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. The flight itself is an adventure, complete with breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas. Our journey to Chutanga begins at Lukla, traveling through beautiful landscapes and communities.

Day 5: Trek from Chutanga to Thuli Kharka (3,900 meters) — 7 hours

Today’s walk is difficult since we cross the Zatrwa La Pass at 4,600 meters. The work pays off with beautiful vistas of the neighboring peaks. Thuli Kharka is a quiet location where we spend the night.

Day 6: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Kothe (4,095 meters) — 5 hours

The trail today takes us through dense forests and along ridges, offering stunning views of the Hinku Valley. Kothe is a small settlement where we spend the night, surrounded by towering mountains.

Day 7: Trek from Kothe to Thangnak (4,350 meters) — 4 hours

A shorter trek today allows us to acclimatize. The trail follows the Hinku River, and the scenery becomes more alpine as we gain altitude. Thangnak is a serene stop with incredible mountain views.

Day 8: Trek from Thangnak to Khare (5,045 meters) — 3 hours

We continue to climb, reaching Khare, which serves as our base for acclimatization. The altitude is noticeable, and we take it slow to let our bodies adjust. The views of Mera Peak from Khare are spectacular.

Day 9: Trek from Khare to Mera Base Camp (5,350 meters) — 5 hours

Today we reach Mera Base Camp, a crucial step in our acclimatization process. The trail is challenging, but the sense of accomplishment upon reaching base camp is immense.

Days 12–24: Climbing Period of Mount Baruntse (7,129 meters)

The climbing period involves setting up higher camps, acclimatizing, and making our summit push. This phase requires patience, determination, and teamwork. Standing on the summit of Baruntse is a moment of triumph, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Day 25: Trek from Baruntse Base Camp to Seto Pokhari (4,850 meters) — 6 hours

After the climb, we begin our descent, retracing our steps to Seto Pokhari. The descent is quicker, and the air feels richer with oxygen.
